PUPIL PREMIUM GRANT (P.P.G.)
Number of pupils eligible for Pupil Premium is 21.
Aston by Sutton Primary School receives a Pupil Premium Grant for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals* (FSM) and for any Children in Care (CiC).
*from 2012, pupils are classed as FSM if they have been eligible for and claiming FSM at any time in the last 6 years. We are required to publish online information about how we have used the premium. This year, the funding received from Pupil Premium has been allocated in the following ways:
Supporting learning through programmes delivered to individual or small groups for those children who need a boost to their learning in order to reach their potential, or who require 'gaps' to be closed in their learning. For example: small group reading, writing or mathematics tuition.
Providing specialised resources for individuals and groups of pupils as recommended by specific agencies
Supporting children's learning in the classroom by ensuring that children have their needs clearly identified and their progress is closely monitored through the school.
