Covid message 10/3/21

We hope everyone is safe and well. We are preparing our clubs for the full opening of schools. We will be introducing a few changes, please read this email in full before completing our booking form for the 8th of March onwards.

Sadly, as we are still in lockdown, children can only access club if one of the following applies:

• vulnerable children and young people
• other children, where the provision is:
  • reasonably necessary to enable their parents and carers to work, search for work, undertake education or training, or attend a medical appointment or address a medical need, or attend a support group
  • being used by electively home educating parents as part of their arrangements for their child to receive a suitable full-time education
  • for the purposes of obtaining a regulated qualification, meeting the entry requirements for an education institution, or to undertake exams and assessments

During January and February, we temporarily increased our prices to cover the majority of our costs. With the increase in minimum wage due in April, the extra expense we have faced due to COVID such as extra staff & cleaning and future price increases of our standard outgoings, we have decided to increase our standard prices to the following:

Morning sessions, 7:30 - 9:00 - £6.50

Afternoon sessions, 3:00 - 6:00 - £12.50

Holiday Club Half Day (Any 6 hours) £21.00

Holiday Club Full Day (Over 6 hours) £31.00

We have updated our cancellation policy and this has been emailed out to you.

Bookings will be confirmed on Friday for those who secured places in bubbles, with key workers who have used us during January/February being given priority followed by the number of bookings. Bookings can be made after this if space allows. If there is enough demand, club will open with 2 bubbles as before. If bookings do not meet this need the club will operate one bubble, which can be split into 2 for when bookings increase.

You can fill in this form again should you not know your schedule for the 2nd week of March.

Kids Activity World Ltd Out of School Club provides out of school care during term time and holidays.  The club is for children from the age of 3 years and upwards..  

The aim of the club is to provide affordable, high-quality care that is enjoyable for the children and easily accesible for parents.  We are here to motivate children through free-play and fun activities which contribute towards a child's overall development.  All staff are fully qualified, there is always a First Aider available and we are OFSTED registered.

How does my child join?

All we need for your child to attend Kids Activity World Ltd is a completed registration and permission form.  Once registered, your child will be able to be booked into club as often as you require.  We are here when you need us!

What activities are there?

Kids Activity World promotes free-play throughout the day.  There are also set activities which are planned for each day.  This allows your child to take part in the activites they enjoy.  These include water play, sports, art and craft and competitions.  There are local trips arranged during Holiday Club such as market and library trips.

Food and Drink

Fresh drinking water is available at all times.  In the morning we provide breakfast for children who require it.  At about 4pm a light snack is provided off a menu which is displayed for you to see.  Staff hold Food Hygiene Certificates and we promote and follow a Healthy Eating Policy.

Sessions and Fees

We are open from 7:30am until 9:00am (£6.50 per session) and 3:00pm until 6:00pm (£12.50 per session) during term time.  Your children are accompanied into school by a member of staff and collected at the end of the day for sessions.  

Holiday Club sessions run from 7:30am until 6:00pm (£31.00 per session).  Half a day is any 6 hours (£21.00) They are available for every school holiday except Christmas.

Payment and Childcare Vouchers

At Kids Activity World, you are able to make a payment by cash, cheque, standing order and/or childcare vouchers.
