French

We are very proud to teach French at Aston!  Children in Key Stage 2 learn French every other week.  We hope that the children develop a love of the language and appreciate French culture and traditions.

Aston was awarded funding from the British Council's Erasmus+ Grant which has enabled both MrsTindale and Miss Wright to spend a week in France learning more of the language and about French culture, traditiions and values to support teaching and learning of French. 

European Day of Language

During European Day of Language, Key Stage 2 children enjoyed a range of language activities including learning new French songs, reading French books and discovering more about the customs and cultures of the countries of Europe.
